Viewing the work
I have experimented with several portfolio techniques to try and find the best method of displaying the work without having to scroll forever or dig around for the work.
The previous version of the site used the moo.fx accordian effect which, although very nice looking at first, with my ever exapnding potfolio of work it was resulting in the actual links going further and further down the page. To view the previous version of the site click here
This new portfolio uses the lightbox effect. There are several javascript libraries you can use for this.
It allows the viewer to see snippets of the work. Once clicked the focus of the page is then on the work preventing the surroundings from distracting the viewers attention. It is then possible to see a description and move through the examples with the next and previous buttons. Simple.
